In the case of a contract for the purchase of a product, made through the Sicilianstories marketplace, the consumer will have the right to withdraw from the same contract, pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 52 et seq. of the Consumer Code, without penalty and without specifying any reason.
The consumer within the period of 14 days has the right to withdraw and therefore to a refund of the amount paid upon return of the item.
The notice of withdrawal must specify the desire to withdraw from the purchase (it is not necessary to specify the reasons) and the product for which you intend to exercise withdrawal, attaching a copy of the documentation proving the purchase.
The withdrawal period expires after 14 days:
- in the case of a contract of sale relating to a single good, from the day you or a third party other than the carrier and designated by you acquires physical possession of the goods;
- in the case of a contract of sale relating to multiple goods, ordered in a single order and delivered separately, from the day you or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the last good;
- in the case of a contract of sale relating to the delivery of a good consisting of multiple lots or pieces, from the day you or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the last lot or piece.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 59(a), (b) and (c) of the Consumer Code, the consumer customer may not exercise the right of withdrawal for products that are custom-made, personalized, or likely to deteriorate or alter rapidly.
Effect of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, you will be refunded all payments you have made to us, including delivery costs, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. Said refunds will be made using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any costs as a result of such refund. Refunds may be suspended until you have received the goods or until you have demonstrated that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.
In no event shall the delivery costs that will be reimbursed to you exceed the amount of delivery charges actually paid by you in connection with the order. You are requested to return the goods to the address specified by the individual participating seller in its terms and conditions of sale, without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the day you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract.
The deadline is met if you return the goods before the expiration of the 14-day period.
You will be responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.
Regarding the right of return, where applicable, please refer to what is expressly stated in the individual participating seller's GTC.
