Hand-tied Drunken Cooked Ham

Prosciutto Cotto Ubriaco, produced in Sicily, is a quality artisanal product, prepared with selected pork that has been cured for a long period of time, and then slowly cooked at low temperatures and hand-tied to give it a perfect shape. This cooked ham has a special treatment, in fact it is flavored with the use of Nero d'Avola wine, a typical red wine of Sicily, known for its intensity and complexity, which gives it a unique and special flavor. It is an ideal product to be served in slices as an accompaniment for aperitifs, as an ingredient to prepare traditional Sicilian dishes or as a condiment for first courses, and it pairs perfectly with red wines from the same region.
