Sicilian Limoncello

Sicilian Limoncello is a lemon-based liqueur produced in Sicily. It is made by infusing lemon peels in pure alcohol, which is then diluted with water and sugar to make a sweet-tasting, refreshing drink. Sicilian limoncello has a bright yellow color and is particularly prized for its intense, fruity lemon aroma. It is usually served cold as a digestive, but can also be used to make cocktails and other drinks. The production of Sicilian limoncello is an ancient art, and the production method varies from family to family, with some using only organic lemons and others adding spices or other ingredients to impart a unique flavor to their limoncello.
